I know it's not just about car chases...but the ones in the movie 'Ronin' were pretty damn good.

from wiki: Ronin is notable for a number of car chases, the last being a particularly lengthy one through the streets and tunnels of Paris; some scenes used up to 300 stunt drivers, according to the DVD director commentary.

All things cars...a Bullcatcher.
Hairy ride in these things. I preferred a roll bar in case things go awry, fortunately they never did.

Haha! We were often asked why we didn't have a roll bar on our old bull catcher. We used to laugh...a bloody roll bar??? We don't even have seat belts!!! If she's gonna tip, JUMP! Hahaha! Jeez I miss the bush @:(

City blokes don't know what feeling alive really means. You've never had an adrenaline rush until you've been swinging on the sh1t stick (tail) of a mickey bull while the dogs are keeping him busy up the other end. Ahhh, tossing micks in the scrub. Those were the days. A sheila from Sydney asked us once, "Aren't you frightened of snakes when you're out there?". Hahaha! Bloody city sheilas. Thanks for the memories @wedgetail eagle !! Good one, mate!

True Moz,
I rarely drove just hung on, getting showered with Green tree ants & pointing out Buffalo wallows (Topend country) to the driver, until we rolled something. Didn't worry at the time but, looking back, those Bulls were proper dangerous bastards, kill ya quick, eh? A different world, that caper.
At one place, the Boss would sent me fencing alone before a muster. I'd camp, following a fence for a week or so till I ran out of food or fencing gear, you know how it is.
Some Aboriginal blokes asked me do I ever see anything spooky out there. I said, yeah, I saw a big fiery ball come out of the East & told me I had to get out of my swag, that big bugger spooks me.
They were wide eyed at the start till they realised I was talking about the sun, then it was, yeah, Righto dickhead.:) Good days.

Haha, I'd've been with you on that one, Woodsie.
A Buffalo bull chased me when I was riding a horse. For the first 100M he was right on me till the horse pulled away. They look big & dopey but, as you know, they're fast. Dangerous animal.

I'm a beaches boy and don't know a lot, but when the local boys Sh1t themselves I knew all I needed to know, and scarpered.

Takes me right back to Mary River Cattle Station.
Cool. The Bullcatcher pic was taken further north on the Mary River, in the Annaburroo area.
I was on Mary River Stn, worked with a Mineral Exploration mob there drilling, after my Ringer days.
It had a lot of weird animals there, African types.

I've got a nice sleeper. A VZ executive. It's actually a 9C1 (police issue) so it has the 5.7 gen 3. It's only an auto, but she floats along nicely. I should sell it as I have 4 cars ATM. It'd be hard to part with, I've had it since it was 9 months old and have really looked after it. The executive badge tricks a lot of young blokes. lol

She's a nice sleeper! Nothing like these though...

Any Mopar fans out there ? Curious to know if there are any after market panels available for VG Valiants out there....or even recommendations for panel work shops that specialise in old chrysler cars.

They tried to make it a game Park.
Only game when I was there was pigs n dingoes with the odd water buffalo.

Saw an episode of HDTV the otherday and they had a bit on JWH picking up a brand new Harley. The guy is a tosser. Bike had a few mods but looked bulk average.

Does not move an inch!
1979F100 ( mines not this good) does a crazy burn out, the throttle control is crazy.

Starting to work on this beast, she's being totally stripped out in the pre build phase

A few plates to weld in are next on the agenda followed up with an underbody sandblast and tar ****

From there it's to be painted up in red with black stripes in the cobra style, new braking system and FG wiring harness so i can bung a barra turbo in

There will be barstardisation and a bodykit but if i can get it sitting on the 330rwkw i'll probably wet myself laughing

Four door?
My first car was a xb falcon. Six cylinder, bench seat, 3 on the tree.

Mine was a column shift auto XD 250 with a flat spot the size of an aircraft carrier

That's a 4 door XC Falcon 500 with the high comp 4.1l xflow and a borg Warner single rail

Matching numbers but I think there's enough of those getting around to sink the titanic all over again, original condition probably get $5k for it off a collector but where's the fun in that? I figure do a good job,use some fiberglass here and there and i might be lucky enough to snag $35k for my work, parts roughly $6k all said and done,if it works out well enough I'll probably do a couple a year
