Gallen is out, so Laffranchi into 17 and will probably start leaving Lewis on the bench

I probably say this every year but Price and Civ have to be getting towards the end of their rep careers. Lets hope our forward pack can get the better of them. Hopefully Bailey having had a few years out will be fired up and our young guns on the bench can overcome them with enthusiasm!! Then just contain their backline.......

It's pretty much an Australian side the Blues will come up against but i think the Blues who have so many new faces in their line up just may catch the Banana benders of guard.

Go the Blues

Clontaago, I would still take Price in the forwards for Manly or NSW. Still a workhorse and has tons of ticker

Qld's front row is miles ahead of ours.  Kite is slow, runs lateral, drops at least two balls per game and gives away a couple of soft penalties and is not in good form.  The others are just good club players at best.

Yeah not saying I wouldnt take them. I just hope that the speed of Origin finds them out as they get older.

I have to hope for something after 3 straight losses and thats where I'm pinning them!!

Origin camps exchange barbs

NSW officials deny suggestions that fear of being spied on at training behind team's tardiness at coaching clinic for victims of Victorian's bushfires.

Why Lady Luck's punching bag can be excused a hackneyed phrase or two

It's State of Origin week and Michael Weyman is offering up cliches. It's the biggest week of his footballing life, the culmination of all the blood, sweat and tears, and he's producing those boring, mundane cliches that frustrate everyone. And good on him.

The writer of the story (Andrew Stevenson) is obviously a Queenslander

the way in which he was spruiking his story.

I reckon Creagh, Lyon and Jennings will be the key, but I don't rate Bellemy's ability to use players properly
