SOO 3 ( what a waste of time)

Apart from the obvious TV reasoning , this next game is a total waste of time and effort and just another chance for players to be injured.

For gods sake it's a dead rubber, means nothing, only to QLD to get a whitewash.

It's about time the NRL grew some balls, and told the QRL and NSWRL that game 3 only goes ahead if there's a need to.

Of course we know that's not going to happen , but I can at least whinge about it.

By the way for the game that doesn't matter QLD will probably be off the pace , and with Gallen retiring NSW will lift and win.

Whoopy do, I'm excited..........not!

Blues by 2. NSW will do anything they can to win just to get some dignity back. I am just praying that Nate Myles and the Trobjevic brothers don't get injured/picked. QLD only grind out wins at ANZ when they NEED to, but then again they won't want to be embarrassed like NSW (Game III 2014).

I love origin and I don't care if it's a dead rubber, I'll be tuned in and cheering for the blues. My prediction is purely optimistic rather than an expectation, but NSW by 2.
We should get the majority of refs calls now they know that the series is dead and they have to give Gal a send off like Corey Parkers game 2 officiating. QLD deserved the first 2 wins but I feel NSW will play with the same mentality the warriors discover during every origin period.
Atleast I can look forward to seeing teddy, Cartwright, the turbos and co next year regardless of another series loss. The new brigade need a head start on the next generation QLD'ers replacing Cronk, smith, Thurston and co.

The only positive I can find out of a 3rd game is the opportunity to blood some youth for next year but I'm still scratching my head as to why Jennings was retained ahead of Walker.
That said, I think Tedesco will prove to be a revelation and N.S.W will get the win.

I was just reading how Tamou said his game 2 was his worst and he feared he would be dropped... And so now he's fired up for a big one in game 3. TOO BAD YOU COULDN'T GET FIRED UP FOR A BIG ONE WHEN IT MATTERED. I guess SOO pay checks are a bigger incentive than winning a series for your state and the fans, you goose.

The changes were made by a coach fearful of moving on old players but trying to appease the outside cries for blooding youngsters. So, what does he do... gets rid of Bird amongst a couple of other younger players and drops in the PR line about having blooded 8 new faces this series. Pathetic.

Gallen and Farrer (and perhaps Jennings) should have been left out. It's funny, but the decision to leave in Gal and Farrer seems to add support to Gus' suggestion that the leadership is selfish...

The Jennings choice is beyond me , and I thought Walker did enough to not lose his spot.

Regardless probably a NSW win only because QLD won't be as committed in NSW.
