Softest I have seen

The refs were doing my head in yesterday - we got the first 4 penalties - then they got 9 to 1 from there onwards including some of the softest calls I have ever seen.

When your team wins "easily" and your still swearing at the ref's you know they havent had a good game. Ashley Klein is the worst referee in the league - he even makes Ceccin look OK.

Having said that its obvious we aren't fit enough or mentally tough enough as we always seem to finish games of a touch weakly this year and invite the opposition back into the contest. Its so frustrating even when we win we half clock off each game. TOTAL difference from what our side has been based on for the past 10 years.

I watched 25 minutes of English Super League recently. One ref, who made all the calls - all of which were correct. Only once did he rightly go to the video ref.
The spectacle was much better than the average NRL game, moving seamlessly and not being bogged down by referee confusion.
The NRL has lost the plot. The confusion caused by two refs - yesterday was a classic example - would make an episode of Comedy Capers.
