From foxsports: MANLY has moved closer to signing representative forwards Anthony Watmough and Brent Kite to new three-year deals, club chief executive Grant Mayer said today. Watmough has been chased by NRL rival St George-Illawarra, but he is wants to remain on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Kite was on Canberra's radar, with the New South Wales prop growing up in the nation's capital, but he is expected to commit to Manly later this week. Manly was also in the process of trying to secure NSW fullback Brett Stewart on a long-term contract, Meyer said. Stewart's current deal runs out at the end of next season.
