We'll probably bring in a couple of squaddies or up a guy from the u20s to the top squad. Doubt we hear anything soon though.

    Farrer would be perfect.

Would cover 1-6 and can be trained up as back up hooker.

Was disappointed when he left, he always played well in whatever position he was asked to play in for us. great utility player

He has only been out of the NRL a year, and it was a late year thing as well

maybe because it was always in the back of his mind that he would be made an offer here for next season. We couldn't squeeze him in this year and he got to have a working holiday in France for 12 months. I though he was quite handy for us and wouldn't mind seeing him back

Farrar would be great. He's very versatile.

But why do we need to recruit high-profile players? This season we got a couple of guys known only to their mothers, and they haven't featured much in our top 17. Yet we are having a stellar year.

On the other hand, major recruiters Canterbury and Souths will almost certainly miss the finals. You don;t need to buy 'names'. Much better to develop them.

Ha ha, Ben Ross not up to NRL standard?

Statistically (supercoach) he is ranked #13 in the top 50 front rowers and hookers.

4 of the players above him are hookers and most of the rest are either current or former Kangaroos or State of Origin players.

Not 1 manly player gets close to that.

    Matt Ballin is #23

For the record, George Rose is #49
