It's taken me a while to comment on the ground - I've just managed to get out of the car park! The SFS is a great ground, but they charge $20 to park in what euphemistically they call a 'car park' and is really just a grassed oval, and then it is a 90-minute effort to get out.
My question to the NRL is this. What will you do next year if we play the Cowboys in a finals match? Will you continue to punish us, or would you prefer the gate takings of a further 4,000 or more people - not to mention the extra costs associated with hiring the SFS over Brookvale Oval?
How is it fair that a team finishing 5th and 6th get a home final over a team finishing 4th? Sure, I can understand it if we were playing most other clubs, but it's now been proven that the Cowboys don't travel and 16,600 was a good effort, I believe.
