But the real story is.......

Wait for it......

I won a wristwatch in the 'vote in the gordon willoughby medal' competition from round 14!

Yay

I'd forgotten you could win anything and was just voting to be a good member, but my thanks to all the gang at Manly who organised and ran the comp, and to Maxum the providers of the prize.

I never really think these prizes to go anyone so it was a nice surprise. Won't swap it for my Breitling...yet.

Apologies for the misleading but tongue in cheek title however it's still 9pm yesterday here and I'm bored.

Hope to go back to back in 2012!

Well we played Nth Qld and beat them 24 - 4.

So I probably voted for Brett Stewart with his 2 tries.

Bilambil boys don't need to know the time, the time knows them! I never played for any group 18 teams, for the stangs I was more a spectator and minor sponsor (which included the after game polo shirts which they always covered with jackets!)

What a shame. The time is wrong.

That's B/s, it's always 9 minutes past 50 around here!

Classy, i'm jealous. Enjoy wearing it!

I may offer it to foz or dce as an extra incentive to extend their contracts (as long as it doesn't put us over the salary cap)

I'm very excited!!

Not just because of the weekends result but after 10 long months the Maxum watch I won has arrived!!!!

And here it is:

It's actually a very solid feeling watch and I like the new design of the latch clasp which will put an end to untimely watch strap openings.

I removed a couple of links (as I'm just that handy) and it fits super well!!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!

I don't know why, and I don't know how (actually I know how the mail system works), but I got a bonus scarf in the mail as well!

How, why, when, who, what - dunno but I'm keeping it!!
