So of our squad, Brett and Glenn Stewart, Anthony Watmough not playing for oz due to injuries. Richie is out due to injury. Taufua is playing for Tonga with Kite, Hasson is playing for Ireland, Cherry for Oz, Foz for NZ. Killer finally retired from rep footy. So that leaves out Horo, Rose, Matai, Ballin, Hiku, Lawrence and Wolfman. (others not named as it is highly unlikely they would have been chosen anyway)

Did you not watch the GF:huh: - Skivi had to have his battered forearm taped back on to the rest of his broken body

But still made the second best tackle of the match - after Foz's on SBW

Manly needs a well earned rest - there will be the Nines Comp added to their already overloaded schedule next year:-/

Refs named so far :
Perenara, Klein, cumins, Alibert, Atkins, Thompson, Hayne, Pereira, Bentham, Sylverwood, Thaler, Roby, Hicks, Thomason, Sharrad, Cobb, Craven, Turley, Leaterbarrow, Jones,Roberts, plus 2 or 3 others.

Ah right I forgot about that, the whole thing was overshadowed by a particular forward pass. Forgive me if that incident is still seared into my memory.

Surely Shayne Hayne, the finest ref in the comp would be named!? He missed out on playing for the Kangaroos when they chose Jennings and Cordner over him.

No Tony Williams for Tonga. He starred in the last world cup and shows how much he has gone downhill in that time

Also I was under the impression you can't play for one country at the previous world cup (eg Tonga) then play for another (Australia ) then switch back again before the next world cup.

Players can apply for special dispensation

This'll put a smile on everyone's faces - the team with one of the coolest team name in Rugby League Scotland Bravehearts have tartan shorts for this world cup

I'll be at millenium in Cardiff for Straya vs the Evil dead (England). Go Queensland-supplemented-by-the-best-few-Blues-players aka Australia!

So anyone watching the Roos Vs Lions game? Very nice, modern stadium they have, the money spent by English Superleague is immense. Any wonder y they can buy so many of our players. Try to uk first. Hard to support Oz with Manly players being snubbed. Go Lions.

How some of these players get chosen for the roos is beyond me. Liking the 1 ref system. But y choose an NRL ref for this match.....

Another try to UK. The stewart brothers are badly missed, Sheens might now be calling 2V to ask about their injury status and when they can get to the UK and if they can bring Lawrence with them.

The Australians are useless so far. 10 nil to the Poms ATM

Its now 10-6 after a Thurston try and goal (Inglis out jumped Sam Tonkins and basically stole it off him).

Inglis could have scored that himself, he was over the line when he passed to Thurston.

The surface has the players skating

Why is Perenara the Ref, I thought that he and Cecchin were suspended

The Roos are warming up and should finish strong.
Those who crucify Wolfie may want to look at the Pom's first try

The turf on that ground is crap. Getting any grip is ridiculous.

Oz finally takes the lead. Sam burgess is an idiot. Who trained him to defend, the Souffs!?

And he tries to do a "Rooster" pass but was caught by a "sharp eyed" touch judge. Hands Oz another try.

Crikey, UK cannot seem to get any of the 50-50 calls. Bet the Burgesses are now feeling what we felt when the same ref ripped us off so many weeks ago. Poetic justice?

I like how when they go to video ref, u can hear live, exactly what the video ref is saying. Interesting idea. Refereeing very important in this match.
