Completely agree re Oldfield and Killer. I remember seeing Robbo stay out when Matai fucqed up in the GF and let in a try. Robbo could have probably come in and shut it down, (close run thing) but I thought by staying out he played the complete winger. Matai should have been embarrassed by his cock-up. Oldfield needs the guidance of Lyon, the complete player. All good. We will win this one easily.

Oldfield and Wolfman swapped wings? Excellent coaching decision Toovs.
definitely agree with this, hope it's the case, and if so, hope it works as well as it does in my head.

I don't see any swap there ?

Robertson was always in the #2 outside Matai and that is where Oldfield will now be. Wolfman was in the #5 in the WCC from memory
The numbers don't mean much because some specialist left wingers wear 5 (eg Vatuvai) and some wear 2 (eg Brett Morris).

Wolfman's entire career at Manly has been on the right, so it's hard to imagine that changing for this match. Particularly when that would put Oldfield directly up against the Beast.

Don't fear the titans or eels souths and dragons at all this year. Knights have cuthbo in the front row so they seem a bit short. Manly top 4 or the 2012 season is a failure.

The Knights on paper look strong but a big question over Gidley,Buderis,Tahu and Cuthbertson. If those 4 can fire and play their very best then they are a strong chance. Impressive backline in names but will they perform plus very injury prone some of those players.

Thanks for the list(s) guys.

Can someone post the round one winners, I need them for the tipping comp!
Tough round to start globaleagle but heres my best......

KNIGHTS - Only due to 1st at home - Buderus influence & unknown rookie hooker Rein for Illawarra - plus I hate Illawarra.

BRONCOS - No Hayne - new EEls combos & Broncs look solid.

STORM - Simple - the 9,7 & 1.

DOGS - Apart from home game & Lewis, Coote & Gordon Penrith are a very ordinary team.

COWS - Look possably best bet of the round.

MANLY - Last years premiers & at $2.30 - get on!!

TIGERS - Will actually be closer imo than many think but Marshall & the speedy half Moltzen will get them home.

ROOSTERS - Someone mentioned the Seaeagles frontrow- forget Hargreaves - this Tasi is the gun that will wreak havoc in 2012. Souths halves with no Sandow & the inconsistent Sutton will fall short.

Spot on. The Titans are rooted. 6 and 9 have less than a dozen first grade games between them for the tits.
