Strange team. Once again one prop on the bench and two back rowers. And I don't understand why Wallace is on the bench and Gidley starting. I like the rest of the team, especially Jennings at centre and Campese.

if that is the side the selectors pick i will just about guarantee that an hour before kick off Wallace will come into halfback, Gidley back to fullback and stewart to the bench.

Why would anyone pick D Williams?  He's only played 1/2 a game this year.  Matt Cooper would be the worst centre going around.  Lazy, in love with himself and mostly not interested.  Josh Morris? nothing to write home about.  Kurt Gidley hasn't played half this year.  Hopeless team.  A 3 nil loss.  If Weyman and Kite are the best props NSW has to offer on their current form, then a 4 nil loss..

100% agree with Ennis, he has been on fire and to me looks like he would have the right attitude for Origin. With him on the field, you would have to say its odds on for a punch up...which is good.

However if the selectors pick the team on the basis of "Gidley is too good to not be in the team" then we will lose. The fact is, whilst he is a good player with a bit of x factor, he is not a specialist in any of the positions he plays and as such does a good job in each, but not as good a job as specialists like Stewart would do.

I think I will support the inbreds in this years origin

is Colin best a NSW player ??? he'd have to be a walk up start on one wing.

    Is that the Souths Centre?

Wingers are a dime a dozen and there are several very decent ones out there.

My view is that most would be better than Turner last year

Jennings would have to be the most over-rated player of the last few years.

He has been in the 'he will explode on the scene' player for a few years now and has done nothing.

Seriously?? I think he's a great player in an ordinary team, when he gets a bit of space he's hard to stop. And he's only been in first grade since 2007.

Joel Monoghan will get a gig before Josh Morris.

Apart from that I like it.... Need another prop though. I'd swap either G. Stewart or Creagh for Perry, King or O'Meley or something... not much out there in ways of props... clinton??

Creagh has been pretty red hot lately so I would keep him for sure

TBH i think Ennis is going better than Farrah at the moment. Origin only really needs one hooker otherwise you are wasting a spot for a forward on the bench

They could do worse than picking Robbo on one wing. Our back three are probably the most reliable/consistent in the game.

    Stewart
    Robbo
    Monaghan
    Lawrence/Jennings
    Williams
    Campese
    Wallace
    Kite
    Farrah
    ????
    Stewart
    Laffranchi
    Creagh

    Gallen
    Watmough
    Bailey
    ????

I'd rather Stewart started and they use Choc for impact. He would be pretty devastating once their forwards started to tire.
