saw in the knights forum that supposedly we have offered bigger money to robbie rochow then the knights. Not sure what to think of this, do we need him? Is he good enough? Haven't watched him or the knights too closely lately.

We need young, fast backs that can enliven our team and replace Killer, Steve and Snake.

We have a big name player retiring which, potentially, equals money to spend....as a result we will be linked (by player managers) to every player on the market

Norman & Asofa-Solomona would be ideal, Walker back to the centres!!

He's not a bad young player, but not what we need. I'd put him in the Jake Trbojevic mould. Goes for 80mins, tackles well, good skills. But having said that not as good as Jake.

I agree with others who say we need some good outside backs or 5/8. That's more crucial. Or if we are looking at forwards, a real kick butt prop.

I'd throw the coconut plantation at Semi. Not only would he win us games he'd bring the crowds back.

I live in Newcastle, general consensus about Rochow is that he's one of the Knights better players ( yeah I know that's faint praise ) and whilst they wouldn't want to see him go, they aren't desperate to keep him either on big $$$.

This story was around last year or in the pre-season ??- maybe just a re-hash of that.

Sign him up we need a workhorse backrower, he barley misses tackles and makes errors he would be a solid buy. But I would prefer money spent on a strike prop.

Poor man's Beyce Cartwright. I'm happy to have him ... Put him on the pile of ball playing second rate second rowers with potential

He's a below average player and prone to long-term injuries. Guess that means he meets our two essential criteria for fill-in signings…
