I have that on very good authority.

He remains with Newcastle for loyalty and lifestyle more than money.

There are a few players like that you know.

Cliffy - if you were to do what you threaten wouldn't you need RTA approval and an escort vehicle?

mata go and get F##ked :naughty:

I still can not believe Buderus is on $160k. Surely he would have to be the 2nd highest paid at the Knights and I dont believe $160k is the 2nd highest salary after Johns.

Mini I guess I can believe, although that is his value "on the books". I am sure there would be a brown paper bag somewhere.

Mata is correct from what I have read. Whilst I don't know the exact figures, M Monaghan is being paid more. More than Buderus, more than Minichello etc etc.....
We paid WAY overs for him....and he aint better than Priddis, Ennis, Buderus, Riddell, Smith, Payne, Gorrell etc etc....Delmege crippled our player buysing capacity regarding the cap on this one.

That said, he DID save us from financial destruction.
yeah jockey ure right
more than all them, more than John Howard, more than eddie mcguire more than shane warnes mobile bill.

who cares tbh honest hes shut his mouth and is playing awesome footy.

Mate - I'd say Buderus is on more, just not as much as Monaghan. I think we all can agree, he's taking up more cap than he should. I think he's a $140k player (average amount per player in regard to cap) tops.

Fair enough mate - sheesh...why have a dig at me? All I said was I agreed with the fact that Monaghan is on more than Buderus...

Got up on the wrong side of bed this morning fellas? 8|

we are paying overs for lots of players ryan.

Kite, orford, monas, king, witt

The 3 that we are paying unders for are BK, Bryant and Bell, with stewy a possible addition to that list

based on the 25 mins he got yesterday he does not deserve his reported salary but he was pretty impressive in that time that he was on the field. if he could do that for 80 mins I would not have a problem with paying him around $160k + I guess.

But yes I do agree $240k is too much, even if he was getting 80 mins.

Monnas looked very good yesterday especially in comparison to Dunley who had an absolute shocker.

I cannot understand why league contracts/salaries do not have a small sign on fee and then loaded with incentive payments.

Why should a plyer receive $240k if he spends most of the year in premier leauge. Surely he should only get the top payment if he plays most of the games in firsts?

A guy like princess should have earned about $1.50 for his effots last year and that it all Manly should have paid him. Instead he did bugger all and still received his $220k for the year. It is wrong.

Yeah, pay the propos for metres made and deduct $ for missed tackles.

King would have been paying for his spot last year.

I would be worried signing up for a new contract tis season with the new IR laws. King etc could be dropped quite easily for operational reasons.

These IR reforms are going to change the game. We might see a few go to overseas union teams

the minute that happens anti tampering goes out the window as does the salary cap as it is anti competitive.

i can see where your coming from though

Looked into that last night Mata and apart from finding information on his contracts in old BL and RLW issues quoting danny, and also a family member at Wests newcastle couldn't stop laughing. I suggest you reveal your "good authority", for i feel you pulled this outta your ass.

And your comment to Cliffy is as weak as piss .......gives me a bit of an insight as to what your about.

Barks i know he knew someone in newcastle team very well. i wont go into details as it isnt my info to reveal but it has substance

I thought the comment was pretty funny ,theres not much humour around at the moment !!!

I got roundly condemned at my last attempt Robbie, although it was only Ridgey, she must be at kindergarten at the moment :)

Or Ridgeys alcoholic mother ,has the poor little sufferer at the childrens hospital getting that foetal alcohol syndrome worked out !!

Just for clarification Barks - Cliffy and I go back a long way and we know when something is said in jest.

Anyways, it's quite likely I'm a wider load than Cliffy, and he knows it.
