Yeah there were some positives this season. I think finally re-signing DCE and the Turbos/Gutho was a win. Given we were last in rd16, to finish 9th is decent (could have been a lot worse).

Our roster getting a shake up is good thing as we really needed forwards, and we have bought some good 80 min forwards.

Newcastle getting wooden spoon after their fans were smashing me here in Newcastle after the first few rounds. Strangely they have now all disappeared.

We won 8 of our last 12 games which is something to be cheerful about. What occurred prior to that is probably best left unmentioned! As Tooves said yesterday the disappointing thing is at this stage of the season we are better then several of the sides that are still playing this weekend.

Yep. I certainly think that on our day we could beat six of the eight finalists.
Easts have our measure at the moment (it used to be the other way around), and I don't think we have the forwards to be able to contain the Dogs. It's all academic, now.
