Another good win to the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles. This time against second placed Central Comets who were kept scoreless at their home ground. I also notice by the results on qrl.com.au that Trent Hodkinson wasn't doing the goal kicking duties as per normal this week. I don't know why.

Well, only two more rounds to go before the finals series starts and the boys are sitting pretty to finish off at probably second or third which is a great effort for their maiden year in my opinion.

Just a question - Why did we sign Hodkinson if we were always planning to keep Orford for another few years? ???

I'm not sure why he signed with us - he'd have played 20 games in the NRL now if he stayed at Parra - he deserved a shot earlier in the year / still does but it's a little late in the season.

Des will never replace Orford, you all know that.  Any younger talented half would be crazy to stay with us when there's Buckly's chance of getting a game.

Nine try thrashing against a very solid team in the Comets. That is a spectacular result. Well done SC Eagles. Maybe we should all go to that GF instead.
