Playstation network down for extended period

Hackers have brought down the PSN and Sony are not being very upfront about the cause or the length of time until the network is up and running.
There are said to be 75million PSN accounts over 59 countries.
That's a lot of pissed people that can't play the online components.

Grrrr. I need my FIFA fix !!!

No biggie, no roster updates for any games coming up soon anyway. I've given up on playing FIFA online as it's so hard to get a decent (re: A team other than Chelsea/Barca/Real/Inter/Man Spew) opponent. Hilarious to watch some people when you manage to get them to agree to a game with assistance off or on semi.

I occasionally play as Perth Glory and get quit on when I go 2 nil up after about 10 mins.

I occasionally play GT5 and get quit on when i get up by 10 seconds on a 10 lapper driving my GTO against Skylines and other assorted supercars

I joined in a championship of GTO and SS's for one race,50 laps around laguna seca,the other idiots couldnt keep the back wheels from spinning

Well looks like they have a "V"andetta against Sony.

I am missing my nightly dose of Killzone 2 but it lucky its the Easter break and the main reason I play (the morons I deal with at work) are out of the equation.

It does look good. Unfortunately I won't be able to play it though - I get quite motion sick when playing FPSs that have a field of vision less than 90 degrees. After 6 minutes of watching that I felt like I was going to spew!

I hate that developers are starting to mess with the field of view.. haven't been able to play a half-life game in years!

Maybe if BF3 comes out on PC with a customizable graphics settings I'll be able to play it

How do you go to PS3 Store?

Second menu from the right and towards the bottom I think on the XMB. You had to have an account before a certain date to be eligible though.
