Loose cannon and a bad influence.

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

so looking forward to the season to kick off and be rid of all the pre-season disasters that seem to happen every year.

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

He drove too fast. Plenty here queuing up to cast the first stone. Reminds me of something I heard somewhere about 'he who is without sin' haha

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

So some of you here criticised him for being, among other things,a "knob",for getting his Ps in his late 20s.You people are out of touch with the mainstream, who believe that kids are getting their licenses too soon, and are not mature enough to get them at that age. (obviously choc seems to be some sort of exception to all logic)!

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

as much as i love a firing choc watmough this guy is starting to follow a similar path to willie mason.

great start to career, sign a fat contract, dont put in the yard yards, silly off field crap & all of a sudden dumped by the club for being a poor trainer and bad influence and no one wants you.

hope des gives him a rocket and he repeats his 08 & 09 (origin form) in 2011 and further.

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

who cares ? Half the Knights team have no licence .

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

Not the press we need but he is setting himself up to be the next one for a fall in some way with the Press.

The guy simply lost his license thats no big deal and no one was hurt.

I actually hope the bad press he has endured in the last week and now this may just be the rocket needed.

Lets see if he can keep his head on the field and play some decent footy.

Nice comment re the Lexus sponsorship...Thats Gold!

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

It is a cliche but there is no such thing as safe speeding.

Sure we have all done it but to be that far over...not the smartest thing

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

While not a good look for the club I don't really care bout the speeding. What he needs to do is start to play some decent football and tone down his massively over inflated ego. It's embarrassing every time he gets interviewed carrying on like he's the man. He did sfa for us last year so hopefully des tells him to pull his head in ,stop walking round looking like he's carrying watermelons, and actually earn that large chunk of our salary cap which he takes up.

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

Firstly, have I been convicted of speeding? Yes! To such an extent that I lost my license? No! It just seems to me that some people atttract trouble for whatever reason and Choc seems to be one. Love the footballer, not such a fan of the bloke. That's my two cents.

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

Have a look at what those merkins dragged up into it at the DT

Dumb but its very easy to speed on that road. I always do late at night, obviously I need to be more careful.

Maybe so but speeding by 10-20 over is one thing we all have done, but doing 50 over there is no excuse except being brain dead.

Noticed that too Shane. Not only do they not recognise innocent until prooven guilty, they don't acknowledge proof of innocence

at least he wasnt flicking beer

Re: Anthony Watmough loses licence after clocking 133km in an 80km zone.

It wouldn't have mattered what speed he was doing. speeding plus no p plates accumulates enough points for loss of licence.
