There is an article on nrl.com that states that Snake is a perfect replacement for Hayne at the whining worms. Endorsed by a couple of their greats.

The article states the following incorrect facts.

Since when has Snake officially asked for a release?
Snake has 2 not 1 year as a contracted Manly player.

This is really poor form from the NRL website peddling untruths and inuendo..

What's a contract worth?

It would seem they aren't worth anything as far as the NRL is concerned.

But you have to remember people, the NRL's Head of Football.....the esteemed Teflon Toad Greenturd.....was himself a club CEO who had no trouble enticing people to break contracts, including coaches. So why should the NRL be any different now under his watch?

I guess in banking David Smith was the same, entice the best for the most amount even if they're working for someone else. Seems the same rule is applying to the NRL.

I know most of us Manly fans will never have many good words to say about David Gallop, especially after the Brett Stewart saga in 2009 and the lack of an apology, but I'd say that the game was never as bad under him than it is now under Smith, Grant and Greenturd (and Gyngell if truth be told).

One club players mean more to me than any superstar ever will, a one club superstar would be great but one club players deserve more respect than they get
