hey BE, are you going to Cronulla, close 4 us Wollongongers!! Not sure if I will go because if we lose to Sharks I might drive off Bulli Tops on way home (with Hodko, Perry, Choc and Farrar in the boot  :D)

Wednesday, next Wednesday and all Wednesdays for the rest of the season I'd say. Des needs to throw that rubber stamp out and start writing the team down in pen (oops, not the mysterious pen again!!)

It will be the same team and we will be beaten.  It will take another 2 losses before Des makes changes.

Ryan, I like your team but have 2 questions.

Why do you (and many others) want to put Williams in the forwards when defence is clearly a weakness apart from the shoulder charge that he pulls off every now and then?

Why do you wantto move Farrer from Fullback?

That said I would be 100% happy if your team takes the field next week.

    No worries:-
Question 1 :) T-Rex dominated in the forward pack at World Cup levels. He looked mobile and had a great off load in traffic. We are targeted on the flanks with him there, and leak too many tries. We need to become a much faster team.
Question 2 :) Farrar is a good player, but he is no specialist fullback. It's a specialist position, requiring a specialist player. Putting Farrar on T-Rex wing makes us so much faster. Monaghan out paced Farrar last night, Sandow would have run him down.

Add to that we could then "rest a player that way as well, meaning Des could bring in an element of accountability, that this team doesn't seem to have at present.

    My Team would be:

    1. Hoppa
    2. Robbo
    3. Foran
    4. Matai
    5. Farrah
    6. Lyon
    7. DCE
    8. King
    9. Ballin
    10. Kite
    11. Choc (Last Chance)
    12. Rodney
    13. Stewart
    14. T-Rex (Impact Player)
    15. Rose
    16. Galuvao
    17. Cross

T-Rex can cover for forwards or backs in the even of an injury to a back. Perry & Hodkinson dropped and as far as I am concerned both could be immediately released.

We do not need wholesale changes, probably 2 max.  I would find room for Hoppa in there somewhere and move Williams in the forwards and include a player like Lussick if his form warrants it.

Actually glad I have something on next Saturday night as we are no hope at Shark park based on current form.

No matter how many changes we'd like to make, a team with more than 4 positional/people changes will play like they've just met each other. I think a couple of change would be good, but not too many.
