<p>TWO of the Queensland Cup’s youngest and most inexperienced clubs have qualified for the biggest game of the season.

In an amazing effort, the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles stormed into next Saturday’s 2009 grand final following a thrilling 30-26 victory over Souths Logan.

Brandon Costin’s Sea Eagles will take on a Northern Pride team in the September 12 decider at Stockland Park on the Sunshine Coast.

The Pride, in just its second season in the Queensland Cup, buried the demons from last year’s shattering preliminary final loss with an unspectacular but gritty 22-10 victory over the Central Comets.

In the FOGS Cup, the Redcliffe Dolphins will clash with the Western District Panthers in the premiership decider.

A hat-trick from Paul Ivan led the Dolphins to a commanding 48-18 victory over the Souths Logan Magpies at Meakin Park.

The second preliminary final was a much tighter affair, with the Panthers just doing enough to edge out Wynnum Manly 18-10 at BMD Kougari Oval.

The FOGS Colts decider will see the minor premiership-winning Souths Logan Magpies tackle the dangerous Easts Tigers.

Inspirational captain Rez Phillips scored two tries in Souths Logan’s stylish 44-12 victory over Tweed Heads.

Easts were also ultra impressive in their 32-14 victory over the Sunshine Coast.
