<div id="storybody"><p><strong>Manly star Brett Stewart is expected to be charged by police tonight over an assault a 17 year-old girl after the club's season launch on Friday night.</strong></p><p>Stewart, 24, arrived at Dee Why Police Station about 6pm, accompanied by coach Des Hasler and his lawyer Geoff Bellew.</p><p>Earlier today, a magistrate extended an order that bans Stewart from approaching or contacting the girl who has accused him of sexual assault. </p><p>Stewart and the girl live in the same apartment complex.</p><p>The star full-back has denied the allegations.</p><p>The girl was interviewed by police this morning for two hours.
