THE precarious state of finances in rugby league has never been more evident, with the revelation three clubs have required emergency assistance from the NRL to pay their players this season.

Of course they'll bail out the bloody Titans! That's their pet team at the moment. They seem to get every 50/50 call at skilled stadium.Why-because the AFL is coming to town, and they have to have their NRL team performing to counter the threat!

This is a good precedent if we ever look like going under. Why doesn't the NRL have the balls to tell the Sharks to go to Adelaide? I can see the rationale for supporting the Titans and Drugcastle, but not the Gummies.

What hope for Rugby League..really. These teams need to be let die I believe, give the other boys on the sidelines a go. What happens if the Titans cost us a GF, its legalised cheating. Everyone else has to do the hard yards off the field not just sponge off handouts.

And I just read in the Telegraph that the Titans are offering Inglis 100K more than Brisbane. How can they do this and still put their hand out for a loan from the NRL. Just stupidity.
