Could this be the beginning of the end for RL betting in Australia?
Particularly the exotic markets.
 
Interestingly the plunge was for a penalty goal to be the first points.  The ref awarded a penalty right in front 2 minutes into the match, but the Cowboys elected not to go for it.

It would be interesting to see how justified the penalty was.  Is it possible that this could explain some of the more extraordinary refereeing decisions this year...

My opinion is that any player who bets on the first play of the match being a penalty goal, when the match is between 2 teams who cant make the finals and have absolutely nothing to play for, is A ****ING MORON. Why on earth would they take the 2?
