Manly's simmering feud with NRL boss David Gallop refuses to die, with Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler pouring more fuel on it.

Great to see a really good letter today in the SMH, for all to see how Gallop has dropped the ball.

Gallop's ok with the 4 game suspension and he's also ok with Todd Carney's indefinite suspension lasting two weeks because their little group meetings together indicate that Carney drinks all the time and can't help it, so it's all worked out.

There seems to be duplicity in NRL leadership or lack there of.

Gallop attempts to hang his bad judgment on something that didn't happen. He always alludes to drunkeness. He's really quite the scummy guy. I hope the club keeps the pressure on the skinny grub.

Gallop continues to state that the Court did not clear Brett of anything other than sexual assult. OF COURSE the Court did not clear him of anything else,he was not charged with anything else...The evidence presented strongly indicated he was not intoxicated... but being intoxicated was not what he was charged with. He was guilty of doing the RIGHT thing and catching a cab home after a few drinks.

Imagine the length of the suspension if he had actually done something wrong!

You can tell Gallop had bad acne in his younger days.
