THIS is the most uplifting and inspirational story of the festive season. How a rugby league team, the Manly Sea Eagles, put a smile on the face of a broken-hearted 11-year-old who will be facing his first Christmas without his mum.

Under the radar, don't want the exposure.

Sarcasm aside, that's a great story. 2 in one week! Maybe there's finally a big media push to hunt a major sponsor?
And well done to Ritchie too, he's done a few stories on Manly that have been positive

    Good story.

Some people criticize it when players are called "heroes". Yep, they're not heroes in the same vein as those who go to war, or risk their lives for others. But to that kid, and his dad, they have done a great thing, and made their lives just a little bit better. At least for a short time.

Therefore, in that respect, they are that kid's heroes.

That story totally choked me up. Poor little fellow. I hope he has the best Christmas possible.
