Typical drugcastle.  Why has it taken this long for them to express an interest in the central coast?

Because they are trying to keep norths out of the central coast.

According to Peter Fitzsimons the introduction of a Super 15 team to Melbourne sounds the death knell for the Storm there.  He says expect the Central Coast Storm within 5 years.  I think there's a lot of substance in that.

News are leaking massive dollars in Melbourne. Without their money, the Storm would go under in weeks.

On the flip side another Melbourne team could prove handy. If it converts people from AFL or soccer then its a much easier transition for people to go from union to nrl, which by the way the NRL have a much more exciting product.
