Sea Eagles squad

Matt Ballin - (7) - tackles his heart and gives his all but looked a little burnt out this year but will back in 2013.
Jamie Buhrer - (8) - played all over the park but look good at hooker. Needs to find a fulltime position to settle.
Daly Cherry-Evans - (7.5) - 2nd year syndrome didnt hit and played strong throughout the year.
Ben Farrar - Did not play.
Kieran Foran - (7.5) - always give 100% but injury early in 2012 slowed his season.
Liam Foran - (6) - looked comfortable in the top grade but sits behind DCE and his Bro.
Joe Galuvao - (7) - like a fine wine just gets better with age.
Daniel Harrison - (5) - never cracked a premanent top spot in the NRL and has gone to Parra to find one. Goodluck Daniel.
Jason King - (8) - started the season well but dropped off in the latter part. Great leader of the club.
Brent Kite - (7.5) - finished the season flying and was back to his best.
Darcy Lussick - (6.5) - Good player but has lapses in his game gives a penalty or 2 away.
Jamie Lyon - (9.5) - has to be the best player in the NRL. Leads by example and will pull a Rabbit of the hat when needed.
Steve Matai - (7) - mixed season some highs and some lows. Needs an off season to get his body right.
Vic Mauro - (6.5) - can make an impact but not as good as he did last season.
Michael Oldfield - (5.5) - given his chances but lost out to Dean Whare when it counted.
Tim Robinson - (5.5) - not given enough chance to play in the NRL but played well enough when he did.
George Rose - (6) - Georgie will give his all but didnt make the impact he did 2011.
Nick Skinner - (5) - played 4 games and did nothing wrong.
Brett Stewart - (9) - has now bounced back from injury and stuff to be at the top of the NRL players. Next year will only get better.
Glenn Stewart - (8.5) - never gives in with attack and defence. Best backrower in the game.
Anthony Watmough - (7) - easy to say can be normally hot but can be cold.
Dean Whare - (8) - given some chances and took them. Panthers have got flyer. Best of luck at Penriff.
David Williams - (5.5) - probably a season to forget with injury and form.
Tony Williams - (**) - hard to give a mark when he can push off 3 players to score a try and then drop a ball. Some times look like the NRL's best forward then look like a traffic cop directing traffic on Pitt Street.
Jorge Taufua -

That looks about right imo

Except id have Kite even with King on 7, they both only had a great half of a season (King first half, Kite second half)

Pretty good year IMO we had our best side on the field less than 5 times and finished top 4. A premiership would have been nice but it is tough when the combinations have no game experience

SEA EAG13S

No way I'd be giving Trex 6. Missed half the season and when he did play he went missing most of the time as well after talking himself up.

37m total in his last game says it all. More like 4 IMO.

If you give Whare is a 6.5 then Wolfie is at least an 8 surely - his link with Lyon cannot be underestimated.
Can only rate when they're on the park.

Look at Matt Ballin's tackles vs run meters almost identical, amazing.

He also made the most tackles of anyone in the nrl.

A record he does not want to repeat next year.

Just starting to read all the reviews etc and thought I too would have a go!!!

My ratings:-

Matt Ballin – 9 – Solid and consistent performer as always
Jamie Buhrer – 6.5 – Showed glimpses of his potential…another “Gift”?
Daly Cherry-Evans – 7 – Wasn’t given the room he needed this year but still had a good one.
Kieran Foran – 7 – Same as DCE
Liam Foran – 6 – Filled in admirably but obviously lacks his brother’s class.
Joe Galuvao – 8.0 - Solid and consistent performer as always
Daniel Harrison – 5 – Hard to get a handle on but thought his performances were below par.
Jason King – 7 – Solid but seemed distant at times; carrying an injury?
Brent Kite – 7 – We saw the old BK in the latter half of the year, hope he stays.
Darcy Lussick – 5 – An enigma wrapped in a riddle…………….
Jamie Lyon – 10 – I can’t fault anything he did; Champion effort again!!
Steve Matai – 6.5 – Average year for Shoulders, I thought.
Vic Mauro – 6 – Great defence but does he actually bend the line?
George Rose – 6.5 – When he came on, he was great for most of the time.
Brett Stewart – 9 – Getting his confidence and timing back was great to watch; bring on 2013
Glenn Stewart – 7 – Not his usual stellar year; too many injuries/distractions?
Jorge Taufua – 8 – Awesome breakthrough year; improved 200% from the seasons start.
Anthony Watmough – 7.5 – Didn’t seem himself; too many injuries/distractions?
Dean Whare – 7 – Solid year filling in; can’t fault him due to being a super sub.
David Williams – 7 – Thought he showed some of the old “wolfie” – really needs an injury free year.
Tony Williams – 4 – Love his “big” runs…………what a disappointment, was a fan 
