Leary was our best forward tonight, with Horo not far behind. Other than not hitting Snake with the pass that could have seen us move within 4 points, Foran was ok. His 18 runs for 166 metres was the most from any Manly player by a LONG way tonight (Leary was next best with 13 for 107). And Jake continues to impress. 9 runs, 73 metres and 30 tackles off the bench.

Special mention to Foran. I've bagged him relentlessly for a month or two, but tonight (and admittedly last week) I thought he showed more of the old Kieran we all adored. Straight hard running and some toughness.

its amazing how much pre disposition comes into these things. This time last year Foran would have got 3. Jake could only manage 59m well short of the 100m mark yet he is only getting wraps. Instead forwards like Horo and Leary who made over 100m are getting ridiculed.

Did anyone else think Jake looked like he was carrying a bit of an injury last night. He didn't seem to running particularly freely. That's maybe why he was off the bench.
