There's a game this week?

Is choc playing?

Rumour is he'll be in Bali with the eels.

And good idea HM. We should be talking about the up-coming game.

Rabbitohs looked a bit stymied without Reynolds last week and they only just lost (although they were let back in). They will hopefully be a bit bashed up after that Roosters game, but this will be a tough ask.

We will be in with a slim chance if we hold onto the ball.

Has Hasson or Symonds been charged by the MRC?

I'd be very surprised if their two biggest stars, Inglis and Sam Burgess, weren't playing pretty badly injured.

Slim chance?? Pfft.. We're in it up to our eyeballs!!

And Sutton's not close to fit.

Depends if Brett Stewart plays, I'm under the impression he is in doubt for Friday.

I will be very happy to be proven wrong!

Tommy wasn't charged, and Hass accepted the Early Plea so is free to play.

The Rabbitohs are the walking wounded this week. More importantly, they expected to bash the Rorters and failed, so the GI blank eyes are a good sign for Manly.

Manly have to guarantee that the ball catching drills have been ongoing since they landed back in Sydney.

In spite of the schedule being set by Nein, instead of the NRL, I am glad that Manly are the first out of the blocks. Less stress and no expectation of who they play and when in the next Finals round :)

Hopefully they are all focused and want the two week break - then Fans can relax too :p

What we are in up to our eyeballs is, trouble.

Our only hope is the pinkies put their whistles in their pockets for the finals. Somehow with the vermin involved I doubt it though. Expecting another farce.

The pinkies will ensure it's a square up for last year, Nein wanted the Vermin in the GF and didn't get it, so it's almost a guarantee it will be a Scam Bargearse v Money Bill final. We all know the Pinkies determine the game ( except if they pocket their whistles like they do in SOO).

It isn't the pinkies dropping the ball, pushing passes, kicking out on the full, lying on tackled players, and other lazy sins. Show some discipline Manly and we have a shot. A small one but it is better than throwing the chance away as we are now. I'm really looking forward to Friday and think we are in for a pleasant surprise.

^ Agree

Manly's lack of respect for the ball is what costs them games.

Bad decisions by the Referees are going to happen, just like bad decisions by our Players.

Manly can blast away any Team when they do the boring structured staff first, and only then consider the more complex passing and kick plays

If Manly can pull off the win then it will show what a good coach Toovey is. It will be a hard task but hopefully he comes up with a good game plan to nullify the Rabbits strengths.

But Manly have not been doing some of the simple things right this year and will need to correct these if they are to win. There's been too many mistakes, dropped balls, missed tackles, the forwards not getting enough meters, long kicking game has not been finding space, etc. Correct these and Manly will win.

No doubting if we go back to a simple game plan of completing the sets, and as a result zero errors, we would be in any game up to our ears.

The problem though is that's bloody hard when the Bargearse brothers are charging at you non stop!!

Fingers crossed though as this is the answer

Manly: 1. Brett Stewart, 2. Jorge Taufua, 3. Jamie Lyon, 4. Steve Matai, 5. Peta Hiku, 6. Kieran Foran, 7. Daly Cherry-Evans, 8. Josh Starling, 9. Jayden Hodges, 10. Brenton Lawrence, 11. Anthony Watmough, 12. Justin Horo, 13. Tom Symonds, 14. Jesse Sene-Lefao, 15. Dunamis Lui, 16. James Hasson, 17. Jason King

Talking point: Two big inclusions for Manly: Brett Stewart (ankle) and Brenton Lawrence (knee). Gutherson and Chee Kam drop out for the pair. Jason King moves to the bench.

1. Greg Inglis, 2. Alex Johnston, 3. Dylan Walker, 4. Kirisome Auva’a, 5. Lote Tuqiri, 6. Luke Keary, 7. Adam Reynolds, 8. George Burgess, 9. Issac Luke, 10. David Tyrrell, 11. Kyle Turner, 12. John Sutton, 13. Sam Burgess, Interchange: 14. Jason Clark, 15. Chris McQueen, 16. Luke Burgess , 17. Tom Burgess, 18. Bryson Goodwin, 19. Ben Lowe, 20. Joe Picker

Talking point: Adam Reynolds (suspension) moves straight back into the no.7 jumper shifting Luke Keary to five eighth and John Sutton to the back row. Chris McQueen moves to an extended bench.

You can bet souths are going to win the penalty count - probably say 8-3.

Your are right mark everything ( now that the NRL's St Hayne and badger have been appointed as refs) is saying souths win by 13+ and everyone is happy- well mostly channel 9, NRL and vermin supporters.

We might as well not turn up. With everything the way things have transpired you would of thought Souths were the home team and finished second.

Love how everything is against us- if we pull a win off on Friday it would be one to remember for the ages and I cannot wait to be there to witness it in Bay 34 with fellow manly supporters.

Souths are deserved favourites and will probably win comfortably but with our group of seasoned veterans they may surprise us.
