I notice that Manly scored a small mention in both Sunday papers.

Hoppa received mention by both Sports gossip columnists for noting his occupation as a Lawyer on a survey in something to do with Boxing.

Manly also received a mention with Des continuing to pay someone to escort the teams away to keep them out of trouble - even sending someone with the PL squad this last weekend.

Cliffy Lyons got a mention for bowling Steve Waugh first ball in a charity match and then refusing to ever bowl another ball!!!

Big story seems to be that Gower is Heartbroken that Penrith have dumped him as Captain for his antics. Bloke should feel lucky he didn't cop much worse in my view and grow up, stop being such a sook!!! (He does have Lady Luck on his side!!!)
