I dont know about anyone else, but all we seem to hear about is players leaving.

We have no "confirmed" signings...we have no "confirmed" sponsor...we have no confirmed nothing except for players leaving/being released.

After a disastarous year I would have expected more. We cant be on the edge of the salary cap with what we have.

I am worried for 2011. It has no shape at teh moment

Mr Lowe we need some action mate and not just in NZ

Yeah a great looking squad, I reckon we have been spoilt with our recruits over the last few years eg. Kennedy,Kite,lyon.I think there will be a new signing annouced soon but I'm confident we will have a better season than the one just gone.

Need another quality prop though - not much depth up front if there is injuries - not sure whether Palau can do the job in first grade.

A couple of things, is Whare actually committed to us for next year yet? He did only sign a one year deal initially.

Also Matai in the second row?  For sure, I initially thought his career was going to mirror that of Ruben Wiki and go from a hard hitting centre to outstanding forward but his shoulder/neck problems will be with him forever.  Its just too big a risk to play him in the middle.

I love watching him play but I think hes one player we could have let go as I woudl have been happy with young Hoppa starting his first grade career in the centres.

I think Cross has the ability & should be settled by now. I do agree he has to step up next year but he has shown enough in the past that he can, I just hope he will.
Young Cunningham is there to put pressure on him & cover for injury.
There's also the option of playing a different style, a less bulk reliant one. I think that's the way we're heading. We have a couple of bulldozers but fill the rest of the spots with steppers, offloaders, ballplayers. It's worth a shot. The '07/'08 formula got shown up big-time this year.
