Years ago in Scum League (Super League) the clubs in that comp were asked to give surplus players to start a new franchise thus the Adelaide Rams were born

If the NRL were serious on expansion here's how to do it.
Each NSW club 'loans' 3 players to the Pirates/Rams or what ever.
How to make it appealing for the clubs the club has the right to deny there own contracted player from playing against them and monetary value from an increased tv deal.

For instance a 17 player team based out of the NSW Cup would look like this if they did it today :

1. Josh Dugan (free agent)
2. Josh Mantellato (knights)
3. Matthew Wright (sharks)
4. Esi Tonga (Manly)
5. Matt Utai (Wests Tigers)
6. Brett Finch(c) (Sharks)
7. Trent Hodkinson (Bulldogs)
8. Lama Tasi (Newtown)
9. Jack Bosden (Newtown)
10. George Rose (Manly)
11. Daniel Harrison (Wenty)
12. Anthony Cherrington (Windsor)
13. Matt Hilder (Knights)

14. Masada Iosefa (Wests Tigers)
15. Nathan Smith (Windsor)
16. Mark Tafua (Sharks)
17. John Kite (Bulldogs)

Coach : Rick Stone
Ass Coach : Barry Ward

Brisbane 2 :

Will be a bit harder to do as the qrl.com doesn't provide teamlist's on there website.

The Western Reds pulled together a very good squad in the lead-up to their 1995 debut, despite fighting with another 3 new clubs for players.

No need to start a conscription for them to pull a squad together. Don't underestimate the lure of heading West for some name players and staff to build a squad around.

also doesn't finch play for the storm?

Contracted to the Storm who have a NSW Cup agreement/arrangement with the Sharks.

I was wondering why the Cronulla NSW cup team had a Storm emblem on their sleeve.

The gentleman who played B2 for ages is named Ben. Currently living in Brisbane. Although rather pretty, he likes the ladies (not that there's anything wrong with that).

That team would not be a good advertismemt for league.
One genuine star, a couple of decent personalities and the rest are just a good bunch of workers.
They'd be battlers.
