Do they just move the money from one News Ltd account to another?

Then at the start of the new financial year they get it back with another $7, 950, 000 on top?

Fines are generally paid via a reduction in the grant to Manly and Melbourne.

The NRL will probably only give them a $50,000 cheque for the Minor Premiership

    1. The $100k fine increases News Ltd's half of profit share by $50k.
    2. News Ltd pass this on, increasing Storm grant by $50k.
    3. Storm use the extra $50k to pay the $50k fine.

    All square.
