Trying to think of the Spuddies first name

A bit historical but always loved Glebe's nickname - The Dirty Reds

Surprised we didn't get that

I don't know how mush rl she played but misty hymen was a fav from the Olympics.

The Hervey Bay "Fighting Whiting" rugby league club.

I was quite taken with a couple of names from the 1984 Souths team:

Bronko Djura
Ziggy Niszczot

Don't see names like that running around in the NRL anymore

Spirit of said:
Jamaica's national rugby league team-
The Reggae Warriors

The only team that fall over laughing in the in-goal area every time they concede a try.

Mike Hunt played for the broncos and New South Wales.

But he changed his name by deed poll to Devere.

Can't remember which team he played for but there was a lower grade player named Peewee Moke.

There was a guy who played for Canberra (I think) whose surname was Lightning. He was a winger too from memory.

There was another bloke in the 90's called someone Daylight.

I remember way back in the MWSE forum days when we signed Glenn Innes. ;)

Kevin Longbottom - played for Souths in the late 80s
Dane Gagai - Currently with the Knights, must have been teased at school
Billy Weepu - BIG unit played mainly lower grades with Manly in the 90s
Alan Tongue - I always wanted see Tongue on Beaver
Karmichael Hunt - AFL superstar and a real K Hunt
"The Pleasure Machine" - arguably the best nickname ever
