Let's hope so Bones.
I'd be up for it. Especially as it's only 1 year and then we may end up with cordner of klemmer the year after. Plus he would make 200 games and life membership.
I'm sure ZTH will be pushing for this to happen.
It would probably be at the expense of Buhrer though
I don't back the decision if it's at buhrer's expense. That would be crazy.
lol if they wanted to they could have this offseason before he went to Superleague.
I also hardly think this cut throat group would make a move that stupid. Glenn Stewart was done when he left us the first time. His only mistake was that he should have left us and retired.
It's probably Matt Ballin
James Hasson to the Sharks?
Think who else it could be? Probably is stewart but he'd be asking to much
@bones you may be a Stewart fan but that doesn't change the fact that he was done.
Could be anyone who was long tenured and bailed. Could be Ryan Hoffman going back to Melbourne. That hasn't really worked out. Frank Pritchard. Kurt Gidley. Maybe it's Choc
@Loobs you thinking he was 'done' doesn't mean it's fact.
What did he do last year of significance other than sustain another long term injury?
Here are a few ideas:
Roosters - SBW, Mini
Rabbits - Sam Burgess
Manly - G. Stewart, Rose, Kite, Watmough
Eels - Jarryd Hayne
Tigers - Benji Marshall
Panthers - ???
Sharks - ???
Dogs - Ben Barba, Ennis
Dragons - Jamie Soward
Feel free to add to this!!!
So long as he's fit give him a one year contract.
Benji Marshall is my guess
So it's a no then.
G'day all,Glen's season at souths last year highlighted the fact that his best days are behind him and that nice little place in the south of France is where he should be finishing his playing career and getting a nice payday in the process.Or is this the international forward\state of origin star we've been rumoured to have been signing?
He would be too expensive and not worth the money.
When he left Souths didn't he say his body wasn't up to NRL standards anymore?
At his age and with the injuries his had the last 3 years will be a backward step
