Strongly refute this revulsion claim - Wolfie is an oil painting  Foz is also an aesthetic asset :D
I think the Wolf's more of a sculptured masterpiece than a painting. Something you could put your hands on :p And you're right, Foz isn't badly crafted either.
In fact, put maroon and white on anybody and they look good.
Go Manly!;)

Did you see the last part of this article? Gives an insight into Glenn's contract situation with the club (which does make some sense)

This was posted on Page 9 of this thread yesterday.

Its been declared a Mexican Standoff, with no winners :dodgy:

The only factual part of the article is that The Dogs Contracts have 3 parts - NRL, Third Party and Off The Record

If glen goes to the dogs, so be it. He is un contracted. If they want Brett Manly should negotiate a huge transfer fee in the process as he is contracted. Its the Dog way

Arko urges Sea Eagles to re-sign Stewart
April 8, 2014 - 1:32PM
Steve Gee and Darren Walton

Manly godfather Ken Arthurson has implored the Sea Eagles to do all they can to retain Glenn Stewart, describing the star forward as the "heart and soul" of the NRL club.

Arthurson, who admits he is not privy to Manly's financial situation, says it would be heartbreaking for his old club to lose the Test back-rower.

"I really think they have to do everything they can to keep him. He is a wonderful player and a terrific bloke off the field," Arthurson said.

"Glenn is without doubt one of my favourite players. He has given so much to the club over a long period of time and I don't want to see him go. I know he doesn't want to go."

Stewart has been in limbo for seven months at the club where he has won two premierships and a Clive Churchill Medal but has yet to receive a formal offer to remain at Brookvale.

The stand-off has left the Eagles' close-knit playing group dismayed with stars such as Steve Matai, Anthony Watmough and Kieran Foran pleading with Manly's hierarchy to re-sign the man they say has been instrumental in creating the club's winning culture.

Matai has warned of a player exodus should Stewart leave, a fear Foran played down on Tuesday, while there are strong rumours, Glenn's brother Brett, who only last year re-signed for a further four seasons, may ask for release should the back-rower leave.

While Foran admitted he was eager for the 2013 grand finalists to put the Stewart issue to bed, the playmaker said the saga wasn't a distraction and was certainly no excuse for "being blown off the park" by Wests Tigers on Sunday.

"It happens at every club and we're just letting the off-field stuff take care of itself and we're just concentrating on our footy," Foran said.

"I don't think it's a distraction. Everyone's professional enough to just get on with the job and we know we've just got to get the wins up at this time of year."

Foran, who told AAP talk that he has a get-out clause in his contract should Stewart leave was "not true", was hopeful tryscoring fullback Brett Stewart wouldn't follow if the Sea Eagles didn't retain his brother.

"They're very tight brothers.; they're as thick as they come, but Brett's signed on until 2016," he said.

Arthurson, the former ARL boss and long-time Manly chief executive, also believes the NRL must do more to allow teams to keep one-club men with bigger salary-cap concessions for stalwarts.

"Nobody wants him to leave. Not the players or the fans and I'm sure the NRL wants to see players like that finish at the one club," he said.

"Players like Glenn Stewart deserve to be one-club players and the NRL has to do more to ensure that can happen."

Meanwhile, powerhouse Sea Eagles winger Jorge Taufua is available for his first match of the season this weekend against Cronulla, after the club's joint top tryscorer in 2013 missed the opening five rounds with a dislocated shoulder.

Mark Gasnier had a cracker moment on Shirvos Super Saturday. He was referring to a team having the breeze advantage. He goes, 'and they will have the wind up their backside in this half too'

It must be noted though, he has improved his on air presentation this year. He talks much better. You can tell he has had media training

The bloke is semi-illiterate. I love the way he uses the word "them" all the time.

This thread is like " Days Of Our Lives "...

There is not one thing you or I can do about it...

The best outcome is , to wait for the end result and continue living ;)

LOL. Good one.

It was so out-of-the-blue that Brett played on Sunday - after being out injured for weeks - and a hamstring problem - to then randomly be fit to play on a dreadful day where he'd be prone to re-injuring it, so I wondered.

Could it be, with the current contract issue and Glenn not being fit to play, that Brett decided he had to play or it wouldn't be a good look if they both didn't play? Or was I reading to much into it?

Just thought it was very strange that Brett suddenly became available and played. Thoughts?

I think that sitting on the sideline for weeks must be mind numbing for any athlete. Snake just wanted to play footy

Although its interesting that Foz retracted all the threats of a walkout in yesterday's Fox Interviews.
Maybe the Club actually took a lead and advised their Employees that Sponsors and Supporters were not amused :dodgy:

The sub standard game that they produced, is also unacceptable - we are not the Warriors

Out of the blue for us is not the same as out of the the blue for the club

We have a history of keeping our cards close to our chest so this is hardly surprising
