How did Lussick not get sent off for that high shot on JWH?
I saw the replay on the news this morning and I must say it raises the question, what on earth do you have to do to get sent off?
If he was still playing for us he would have been sent off. It was described in the Sunday Telegraph as brilliant theatre.
Maybe the only thing that saved him was JWH not going down in a heap (and ref's reticence of course.)
And the fact that a 100-point thrashing would not be a good look for the game.
That's three things then! oooooh Alliteration ftw!
And some people still want Lussick to come back to Manly. JWH yes Lussick no
In any rational society, hitting JHW would not be an offence, inadvisable possibly, but certainly not an offence.
My memory isn't what it used to be but I'm pretty sure it was worse than the one JWH put on Georgie last year.
Consistency anyone ?
The hit was not as as bad as it looked. Obviously he held back otherwise there would have been blood and heads everywhere.
JWH constantly uses his head in tackles, and these headbutts are allowed
Darcy's hit was high but with an open hand, just like the one that DCE got hit with on Friday
Loved that he went in again just to piss off JWH
I saw the title of this thread & for a minute i thought i was on the kennle.
