There's too much negativity on this site about the golden west and what it can offer down at heel, disgruntled and extremely upset ex sea eagle stars.

Foz and Choc are going to set Church street on fire! There's a nice nook in the Woolpac hotel i can recommend and there are efforts being made to dredge all the muck up from the bottom of Parramatta river and make it a 'family water park' to rival Freshwater beach. Foz's family will love this! They have also just repaved and renovated the Parramatta mall, including moving on the homeless vagrants who were clogging up the footpaths. Apparently this was a family related clause in Foz's contract. There's now a lovely water feature modelled on the men's urinal at the old cumberland oval, circa 1977.

If all this fails, and the long hours in bumper to bumper traffic starts getting Foz and Choc down, or if the constant desperate pleadings for salvation from toothless success deprived eels fans wearing 1983 vintage kit starts to grate, there's always the consolation of knowing that they will be developing their playing skills under the tutelage of a rolled god rugby league master - the Dali Arthur. Who cares about Andrew Johns when you've got a man with a proven record of achievement like Arthur to show you the way.

According to a reliable source, Arthur's mastery of the game has now transcended the mundane and superficial traditional emphasis on winning. He is encouraging his players to meditate regularly, concentrate on their breathing, and just observe the victories slipping past, without reacting. The key is to not let their ego's get involved. Radical, ground breaking stuff.

Forget about running stone motherless last with a poisonous board and a solid 30 year record of mediocrity. There's something big happening out west and all the smart players are chomping at the bit to get a piece of it.

Great Read, very true

The Eels have some success about every 30 to 40 years, so are getting closer. They'll need more than Arthur and Foran to win a premiership, but in their favour is that nothing would please the NRL more.

So far hasn't done much for them. wonder how long they will give him to bring results.
I think he will see out the year, but if he doesn't make the eight, they will be under a great deal of pressure to flick him and install Daniel Anderson.

And the cycle of suck will continue ever after in that sh*thole of a club ;)

I hope Foran reads the parra forums while he injured as he needs to take note of this. The same could be said of DCE going to the titans
