**** me since when has life been fair??

Get over it, you'll live a damn sight longer.

Well R-1 out of question. Not enough $$,and cant even watch it.
r2-would only ever go there again if Elle Macpherson invited me,and promised "a night to remember"!r3-cronulla at home on monday...they're dreamin'!r4-st merge...well they dont even know where the games being played..enough said.r5-parra at parra..actually one i COULD get to..mountains trains stiop at parra,so i can get home reasonable time.Shocker of a draw for the premiers!did we actually win 2011?!?!

I got the two qld games I'd hoped for :D but they can keep flogging MNF all they want...it sucks...and always will.

Yet again this is a farce, how do the Broncos get such liberties, News limiteds filthy fingers are all over this draw schedule.

We were told that there would be a concerted effort to put as many Sydney derbies on Sunday afternoons, putting our games, Parra and Saints on Monday and Saturday nights respectivly is an insult. This is the 3rd year in a row that a clash with Parra has been scheduled for MOnday.

The reality for the first 5 rounds is it will be very difficult for our fans to get to games, no Sunday fixtures apart from the warriors in round 1.

The Broncos control the scheduling, they get every Friday night, prime time for their sponsors. Its not fair.

This independent commission when it comes on board needs to announce well in advance the draw like the AFL does and needs to be fair to all clubs, it is a fact that of the 16 clubs, 2 are making a profit BRISBANE AND MELBOURNE, its not hard fellas, News limited must be removed from the game!!.

Yeh just think of all the things we could of avoided.
We could still only have white men voting.
Yep we would all be better off if we just sit here and accept all as is and never even discuss things we think should be changed.

you arent discussing anything you are just complaining and bitching.

and thats the only free race comment you get to direct at me. thats very close to calling me a racist. which may or may not have been your intent.

I am not surprised by the TV scheduling. I got Fox Sports a couple of years ago because I was sick of missing Manly games because they were not on FTA. As defending premiers I was hoping they would have kinder scheduling but not surprised by the 2 Monday night games. In 2010 I think we had 6 Monday night games in the season, a bloody joke!!

Ahhhh I love how the internet allows people to tell others to relax, calm down, get over it.....until of course they don't like something and then miss the irony of 'keyboard' jumping up and down, not getting over it, oh and of course drawing the longest bow they can for perceived accusations. I guess we can't all wield the big 'you're banned stick', it's just that important.

Just saying. Peace to all.

Also I too went to foxtel/ austar as I was tired of missing out on Manly games free to air. And then got tired of ch 9's ads and returning to the game 1 tackle in etc etc.

As also has been said, if the tv companies are stumping up the big bucks, they'll schedule how they see fit.

I've provided the FNF and MNF games as they encompass the largest ratings for either FTA or Pay, and are the first picked tv schedules of each round.

Friday Night Football (since 2007)

Brisbane - 75 (37/38)
St.George/Illa - 44 (22/22)
Parramatta - 41 (22/19)
Canterbury - 40 (18/22)
Gold Coast - 38 (18/20)

Roosters - 24 (13/11)
Manly - 24 (15/9)
Melbourne - 23 (13/10)
Newcastle - 17 (7/10)
Cronulla - 10 (5/5)
New Zealand - 8 (6/2)
Canberra - 7 (5/2)

Monday Night Football (since 2007)

Club - No of games (Home/Away)

Melbourne - 21 (10/11)
Newcastle - 21 (9/12)
Canberra - 20 (12/8)
Parramatta - 20 (11/9)
Manly - 19 (9/10
Wests Tigers - 18 (13/5)
Souths - 18 (10/8)
Cronulla - 17 (8/9)
Roosters - 16 (6/10)
Canterbury - 15 (7/8)
Gold Coast - 15 (8/7)
St.George/Illa - 14 (8/6)
North Qld - 13 (4/9)
Penrith - 10 (5/5)
Brisbane - 9 (5/4)
New Zealand 4 (0/4)

On a side note, when Channel 9 scheduled Friday games during season 2011, the average ladder position of the sides selected when chosen was 7.68 out of 16.

When the teams actually played each other, the average ladder position of the clubs was down slightly, to 8.26 out of 16. The insistance of Ch9 to schedule matches from regular non-Top 8 clubs such as Souths, Canterbury, Gold Coast and Parramatta contributed. Each of those clubs received as many if not more FNF games than Manly and Melbourne combined, in 2011.

Well mickeyjuice who told you fro is white??? Could be a black fella

Merkin comment, you could have used change adverse

While i am surprised to see since 2007 we have had almost as many Monday night games as Friday night games, we are not the worst affected. Melbourne and Newcastle have been dealt worse cards. Neither team has been an under-performer as such.

Really, i don't care. Get the Monday night games and the away games out of the way for a good run home to the finals!

thank you Shane, you have actually nailed it (as hard as that is for me to say :))

I am actually as white as they come, but you are spot on, there are plenty of other ways to get the point across.

and @ Global eagle and my old mate volley, find me a single person I have banned? there arent any. I didnt say you didnt have the right to jump up and down and whinge and carry on. you do. just as i have the riht to call you idiots for doing so.

as long as no lines are crossed and rules arent broken you can go for your life.

I should've cut the banning part from the part I quoted. Wouldn't have a clue if you ban people or not.

I just found it funny that you ripped on Mickyj and others for sooking, and then you get a good old sook in yourself, which seemed to be baseless.

There are roughly twice as many FN games as there are MNF. Having a near-equal number of each, isn't a level playing field. A 2-1 allocation of Fri/Mon, is closer to the mark.

The TV figures clearly show that Channel Nine have absolutely no interest in covering the best performing teams. Melbourne and Manly are the most successful clubs since 2007, yet they are near the least to be televised.

Channel Nine are not good for the game. I hope the Independent Commission takes a hard look at these figures when negotiating the next FTA TV deal, and gives other commercial channels a chance.
