If anyone needed any reminding of waiting for a full investigation maybe this is worth a reminder

I am not saying the consequences should not be harsh if there is truth to all the rumors....we should just wait for the full investigation

Love how you bring that up. It reminds me how wrong those scumbags were.

You are correct though it does need to be fully investigated. If it is true he's contract should be torn up.

Based on clubs statement it's not Dom violence so that's good. He's still a silly bigger for driving drunk but that's not a sackable offense IMO

Brenton Lawrence, Jason King's half-dead corpse - ladies and gentlemen your 2014 Manly Sea Eagles front row rotation!

Josh Starling, Ligi Sao, Jake T, Tyson Andrews. We don't need big name props. They just need to to put their head down and run forward. Having low budget props enables us to keep the stars in the backline and back row.

The Police Statement:

Man charged with drink-driving and pursuit following domestic dispute - Macquarie Fields
Monday, 25 November 2013 04:14:31 AM

A man has been charged following an alleged domestic violence incident and police pursuit at Macquarie Fields yesterday.

About 2pm, Sunday 24 November 2013, a man was at his home in Macquarie Fields when he allegedly became involved in an argument with his wife.

During the argument the man allegedly knocked over furniture, kicked a door off its hinges and smashed a window before his wife fled the premises.

The man allegedly drove to another house in Ingleburn where the domestic dispute continued and police were called.

Police attended the house in Ingleburn where they saw the man driving past the premises and attempted to stop him, however, he failed to stop and a police pursuit was initiated.

The vehicle was subsequently stopped in Currawong Street, Ingleburn and the 29-year-old man arrested. He was submitted to a breath test and returned a positive reading.

The man was taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis and returned an alleged reading of 0.126.

He was charged with malicious damage, not stop vehicle when directed to do so and drive with mid-range PCA and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday 26 November 2013.

The man was also issued with an apprehended violence order.

Ligi Sao, Josh Starling, Jake T, Tyson Andrews and Dunamis Lui.
By having budget priced props Manly are able to spend what is required to keep the stars in the backline.

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles were made aware of an incident last night involving Richie Fa’aoso for which he was detained by police and charged.
The incident has been reported to the NRL Integrity Unit which is investigating the matter and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will fully cooperate with both the Police and the NRL Integrity Unit during this process.
Richie has the full support of his wife and family and is presently undergoing counselling. He will appear in Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow.
Further to this, the family has asked us to make it clear that this is not a domestic violence matter and that they be afforded some privacy at this time.
There will be no further comment made by the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at this stage.

I would say he is in a spot of bother, if found to be true.

Can't say I'd be unhappy to see him go, to be perfectly honest.

There appears to be a lot of instances of domestic violence, not just in league but in sport more generally. Very worrying, especially in 2013.

NRL needs to require an Anger Management Certificate from every Player before registering their Contracts

Richie should get a job in demolition after his league career.

Manly has supposedly denied claims of domestic violence.

MANLY has denied police claims of domestic violence against Richie Fa'aoso after the NRL prop was arrested after a car chase.

The 29-year-old was charged by police with malicious damage, not stopping a vehicle when directed to do so and mid-range drink driving after an alleged domestic violence incident at Macquarie Fields yesterday.

The Sea Eagles forward was also hit with an apprehended violence order and is due to face Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow.

But a statement from the Manly club today indicated Fa'aoso would contest those charges.

"Richie has the full support of his wife and family and is presently undergoing counselling," the statement read.

"Further to this, the family has asked us to make it clear that this is not a domestic violence matter and that they be afforded some privacy at this time."

However, according to police Fa'aoso's wife fled her home after the allegedly drunk 108-kilogram prop smashed furniture, kicked a door off its hinges and broke a window during a domestic dispute.

An argument broke out between the couple at their Macquarie Fields home early yesterday, police say.

His wife fled, but police say Fa'aoso followed her to another house at nearby Ingleburn, where they continued arguing.

Police were called and tried to stop Fa'aoso as he drove from the home.

They say he failed to pull over and they chased him a short distance.

Fa'aoso was arrested and taken to Macquarie Fields police station where he was breath-tested, allegedly returning a reading of 0.126.

The NRL has launched an investigation of the incident via its Integrity Unit.

"The National Rugby League Integrity Unit is investigating an incident in relation to Manly's Richie Fa'aoso and is assisting with counselling support for both him and his family," an NRL statement read.

"The NRL was advised of the player being charged last night and the Integrity Unit has been in contact with both the police and the club.

"There are police matters here that we have to allow to take their course but we are also able to look at some issues and to ensure that there is welfare support for the player and his family," added NRL Chief Operating Officer, Jim Doyle.

Manly has suspended Ritchie from playing until February.

He is going to have a lot of public transport to catch to get to training every days while his licence is suspended.

That's terrible, so he can't play any games over December and January?

breaking furniture, window and door is both violent and domestic, but apparently not domestic violence.
