    Just when you thought getting their 11th spoon wasn't bad enough, the Eels have really bottomed out.

    Actually it was their 12th spoon. One for every 5 1/2 seasons in the competition. A very 'imposing' stat!

    Those dodgy Eels left out 1954 on their list of Wooden spoons on Wiki.

    I think that eel is a bit stuck up in my opinion.

    Or at least it was making an arse of itself.

    Kiwis need to keep well away from eels. Eels were no good for Kearney, now this.

    Well be thankful it wasn't followed by a wooden spoon.

    I wonder how this bloke felt though, given theres the highly probable vs the highly unlikely reason how it ended up his bum.
