Good interview I thought but didn't give a lot away....I have a feeling if we can be relatively injury free this year that we'll have a fair to good year...fair...making the 8...good top 4.

I'd say 14/16 coaches would think they can win the comp at this time of the year and no coach would say otherwise.  So it's hardly startling that Des is talking confident.  I think he has more reason for optimism than most coaches in the NRL.

Yes, but if you're in the mix it means that you do not have your hands on the spoon doing the mixing and looking forlornly into the (finals) bowl.
