Our problem is too many good performers. For NQ only one player is capable of getting 3 points in a match
You only have to look at our Silvertails player of the year - thanks @Mosto - to see how our players share the points, that is a disadvantage compared to Storm's big 3 and Clubs like Souths and Cows with one standout.

Don't want him to win it.
It's a poisoned chalice - not many players win the Dally M and a Grand Final and now we've got the Barba and Carney things as well.

However want Choc to win the RLPA's player of the year - better award judged by other players not News Ltd.

Seemed to go okay for Matt Orford

I'm sure that was the year Billy Slater polled most votes but didn't win due to a reduction in 3 points for a suspension.

Matt Orford would have been runner up if Billy had not lost those points. I'll stand corrected but i'm sure it was something along those lines.

That would mean the Dally M is a bit of a curse to winning the premiership.

I'd love Daly to win the Dally but i'm sure he would prefer the premiership trophy.
