DALY Cherry-Evans may wear No.7 on his back but the blond dynamo turned into a storming backrower last night to bully the Manly Sea Eagles to an upset victory over the Brisbane Broncos.

Cherry-Evans scored a crucial second half try, bullocking his way to the line through three defenders.

It was an effort more suited to Anthony Watmough than an 84kg playmaker.

Those plays were the catalyst for a surge that won the Sea Eagles the game, as they scored three tries in eight minutes.
