My next door neighbor was friends with a girl who's brother was a ballboy for the raiders back in 96.

my step-father played for Manly in the early 80's for a couple of seasons.
Managed to make me see the greener pastures and trade in my parra jersey for a manly one when i was a young whippersnapper.

I also played cricket with Phil Hughes at Sawtell (just south of Coffs Harbour).

Sorry bro you cant say thats a claim to fame.

Hes a HAck at best. Just proves when you get a blues hat they give you a baggy green in a brown paper bag :)

haha - I was eating lunch at the Macksville Pub when he scored a century back in 2008 and drinks were on the house. lol:p

haha - shot down - nice one Cambo :D

Played cricket with Laurie Daley, he was 2 years younger than me so I never played footy with him. I have some photos of our team, might also included former Dogs and Magpies player Jason Lidden and Raider Craig Breen. For the record I opened the bowling and the batting but wasnt much good at either.

The guy was a freak and most likely would of played cricket for Australia had he not gone to league, could of been the next Ian Botham, he could bat and bowl better just about anyone I have seen around here other than Michael Slater.

He would of played first grade AFL if he had gone down that path.

Josh Graham Rugby league Gold Coast Titans
Mat Rogers Rugby league Gold Coast Titans
Peter Jackson Rugby league Queensland
Nathan Stapleton Rugby league Cronulla Sharks

john Buchanan - cricket coach

These went to the same school I did, some others as well but that'll do.

I went to school with and played heaps of footy with Jason Hetherington. I grew up and got a job while he continued playing footy for, amongst others, the Bulldogs, Qld and Australia.
I once wrestled a chico roll off Dave Taylor in a tremendous display of strength that only a Manly supporter could have. (Or so i told him);)

I've heard about you Earnie. You're the guy that kicked a conversion from the sideline, one meter out from the try line. The angle was so acute that the ball became wedged between the uprights. You're a legend around here mate!;)

Well....I didnt want to bragg.

I did however go to school and play footy (union) with Rod Jackson who joined Manly in 1973 and played in the 76 GF. Both Rod and I were offered contracts with Manly . I wanted to play fullback but that spot was filled by Eadie so I didnt want to be the one to push the great Wombat out and didnt sign.

HAHA. Mate, i had the same dilema with the porn industry. They offered me huge money, but hey, Ron Jeremy is a great guy and i didn't want to see him out of work.
