This is great news, the Mrs is out tonight so I will be kicking back and enjoying this one.I was there and have memories of Tooves making a break from the scrum and cliffy was on fire , I only just made it out of the ground alive.

I am at Oz Tag so i wont be able to see it anyway

Thanks boys, loved chief trying to take out Carroll only to be flattened himself,Tooves scoring,Lyon scoring a double and a younger Desmondium showing all hookers how it should be done

Geez that was an outstanding team. IMO its one of the great injustices in Rugby League history that they only got one premiership between 95-97. The could have been cemented as one of the all time great teams if they had.

How good was OJ. I had forgotten just how much impact that guy had.

A good solid pig who made metres every single time he touched the ball.

And jeez Cliffy and Toovey were smart footballers. Even there when Cliffy was 34 he still dazzled everyone.

Matty and Joey were bloody good together. My god they were crafty. If their forward pack was doing more in that game it would have been closer.

The Defense of Manly was outstanding, aggressive and clinical the cover was also amazing, if a tackle was missed someone else was in behind to clean up, wow!

If there's criticism of Fulton, he had teams full of wonderful players for many years and should have delivered more silverware for our trophy cabinet.
