Saw a few of the highlights of the games. Happy to see that utd had a draw. However rare i feel sorry for someone from them but that Valancia injury was sad to see. I hope to see a few upsets and that some of the proper clubs( not these so called big rich teams) get a few wins.

I long for the old days before the league when it was straight knock out

Six net finders for the Gunners. There is life in the club yet. And we haven't mortgaged ourselves to the point of near extinction. :)

I hope some of you got to see the Final, Man Utd up against Barcelona - a promoter's dream at Wembly. It is a game I have been looking forward to. Two of the world's greatest teams. I favoured the red and blues but even I couldn't have predicted how one-sided it would be.

I have seen some incredible teams but Barca right now would rival the best of all time. The stats for them where just phenominal against really quality opposition.
Possession 63% (ran at 67% most of the game and it just didn't come from time wasting. They controlled it).
    16 shots to 3
    6 corners to 0, and 5 fouls to 16

Rooney was terrific but there was only one very deserved winner. Messi easily the world's best footballer and MOTM. Barca's passing and defense laid the platform. Watch it - you won't be disappointed.

Frustrating watching Chelsea v Barca this morning. Constantly having 10 back made for a dour match, well done though to Chelsea for sticking to a most boring plan.

Mrs wasn't happy with my screaming at the TV with those missed opportunities for my boys, return leg next week is set for a massive game Barca 3-1

I thought it was a great match - contrasting styles everything you want from euro football
