He plays like a $250k half back, yet gets paid more money than any other player in the NRL (base contract).

He is absolutely ordinary. Foran was right I guess. Karma.

I really don't understand why barrett is trying to change so much at once. I mean they publicised a lot that DCE has "license to roam" around both sides of the field.

Instead why not stick to the established pattern first and then try the new stuff later in the season when Walker is more settled.

Normally I'd agree, cherry, but even when he did have something to work with, he was terrible. That last tackle option of handing the ball to a front rower was diabolically bad. Still think we have bigger problems (like outside backs who have no idea how to defend) but DCE needs to do a lot more than he has.

agreed hes played woefully in 2 rounds, but thats 2/26 rounds. Complete spit of the dummy. Sure he's not worth the money from the last two performances but he sure has shown he can be. The sad thing is that if we ditch cherry, we're lost. We need him to perform, and i believe he will. What other half is there to sign? Luke keary? how would he steer this side around if cherry cant? sam williams? surely a gee up. cherry has shown he can be one of the best in the game, just needs to find form.. (as well as the team) because every player has grey patches. besides thurston of course

He's in the red zone and twice ran the team the wrong way and just when you think it couldn't get any worse he didn't realise it was last 5th tackle. This was the most critical part of the game. We had the Tigers on the ropes. That to me was the game breaking moment which Brooks would have been all over it. Bet he wishes he was on one million dollars.

Easy target to blame DCE. Yes, he made a vital error tonight and is not as his best. I think he's the type of guy who'll be very down on himself after not performing well. He'll come good.
The coach needs to get the best out of his players. Barrett needs to figure it out.

how would sam williams perform any better then cherry evans in manly colours? our teams a shambles atm and im sure williams would be performing even poorer then cherry has recently
