    Blindside column Manly Daily:

BELIEVE it or not, Manly great Steve Menzies is considering another season in the English Super League beyond his 2010 commitments.

Beaver has loved his time at Bradford, agreeing to a second-year this season.

And now there is a hint of a third year with the Bulls.

“Every year you play, you think this is going to be your last and it’s more and more likely that it is,” the 36-year-old said this week.

“If I feel good and if Bradford want to keep me, I’d consider it.

“I probably wouldn’t want to go anywhere else over here.”

Bugger that, we think Beaver should have a final swansong right here in Manly.

I thought he retired from Manly a year to early.  At the end of 2008 he certainly looked like he had another good year in him.  Sad really as I hate the fact that that ****e-head Lamb shares the record.

Yeah, I sort of felt that way myself but after last years team results, I'm glad that he went out the way that he did.  What a way to go out of the NRL.  It was a dream come true and went out as a winner with a premiership & also a try scored in the grand final.  It would have been a sorry sight for him to have played on last year and leave with how we went out of the finals etc.
