AUSTRALIA'S Jillaroos have won the women's rugby league World Cup at Headingley to end New Zealand's domination of the tournament.

The Kiwis had won the previous three women's tournaments but with Samantha Hammond and Jenni Sue Hoepper starring, Australia won the final 22-12.

    STUDENTS WIN FINAL

AUSTRALIA left Leeds with a clean sweep of World Cups after their students turned around a 10-point halftime deficit to beat England 30-16 in the final.

    POLICE GET IN ON ACT

AUSTRALIA beat Fiji 18-16 in the Police final.
